Who we are

Reset: Brain & Focus (“Reset”, “we”) is an iOS application. For any privacy question you can reach us at support@minosdevs.app.

What we collect

Nothing that identifies you. Reset does not ask for your name, email address, phone number or date of birth, and there is no sign-up step. We have no way to contact you inside the app and no database of users.

What is stored on your device

The following is written to your iPhone’s local storage and stays there:

• Which lessons you have completed, and your quiz accuracy for each
• Your XP total, level, current streak and best streak
• Badges you have earned and challenges you have marked as done
• Your review schedule: when each finished lesson is due to come back
• Your focus session history: duration, date, what you said you were focusing on, the optional task name you typed, and your one-tap reflection afterwards
• Anything you write in a lesson challenge that asks you to note something down
• Your settings: language and reminder time
• Your three onboarding answers: which situation you recognised yourself in, how much distracted time you estimated, and the daily budget you picked

The free-text fields are worth calling out separately: the task name on a focus session and the notes you write in a challenge are yours, they are never analysed, and they are never sent anywhere. They exist so the app can show them back to you.

This data never leaves your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it. You can also erase it at any time from Settings → Reset my progress inside the app.

Third parties we use

Reset relies on exactly two third parties, and only for purchases:

• Apple — all subscriptions are processed by Apple through In-App Purchase. Apple receives your payment details; we never see them. Apple’s handling of that information is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — we use RevenueCat to check whether an active subscription exists. RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier generated on your device and your subscription status from Apple. It does not receive your name, email or payment details. See RevenueCat’s Privacy Policy.

This website is hosted by Vercel, which may log standard request information such as IP address for security and reliability purposes. The app itself does not contact this website except when you tap a link to open it.

What we do not do

• No advertising and no ad identifiers
• No analytics or tracking SDKs
• No access to your screen time, app usage, contacts, photos, location or microphone
• No selling or sharing of personal information
• No artificial intelligence services — the app sends no text anywhere

Notifications

If you enable the daily reminder, it is scheduled locally on your device by iOS. No push notification server is involved and we never learn whether you received or opened it. You can turn reminders off in the app or in iOS Settings at any time.

Children

Reset is a general-audience educational app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because we do not collect personal information at all.

Your rights

Data protection laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export and delete your personal data. Because Reset holds no personal data about you on any server, there is nothing for us to retrieve or erase on your behalf. All of your data is in your own possession, and deleting the app or using Settings → Reset my progress removes it completely and permanently.

Changes

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it. Material changes will be described in the app’s release notes.
